I can seed the torrents from several dedicated servers 24/7 with a 100mbit connection... If anybody would be so kind to tell me where I can get all the Wikipedia torrents? Sorry for posting anonoymous, but I cannot login here at the moment. I will sign with my own username here later. (I'm on a school computer at the moment) EDIT: I know there's a download link on this discussion page, but I'm not sure whether there are any more Wikipedia torrents circulating, besides this one.213.126.131.130 (talk) 08:57, 8 February 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Two versions available: 4G with full size images, 1G with only the thumbnails. Browsable at -wikipedia.org Generally it is tons better than the last one. Please could someone tell me where to upload the files so you can torrent them? We've only got 500G bandwidth on our website so probably will only offer the 1G one. --BozMo talk 10:01, 21 May 2007 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Things aren't really settled down yet, however, I'm going to try to get into touch with someone at BitTorrent, inc. so that a torrent release with substantial support can be legitimately available for the public, etc. Nominaladversary (talk) 18:34, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Seeing as the official-official and final releases is already torrent-able on the soschildren's website, we can assume that'll be their priority. All help is encouraged to their effort, however. Our focus shifts to every other release and broadening the audience to the project(via torrents of course!)--besides we don't wanna keep focus on just one place... The new year is coming. Also, we will be producing an updated version of Version 0.7 quite soon, to be called 0.701. I believe there may be another Schools release in the works soon, so watch for that too. Is there anyone here who is able to help organize torrents for these three collections? Thanks, Walkerma (talk) 03:39, 29 July 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
FURTHER UPDATE: The ZIM file should be ready by around December 15th. Are people here ready to work with User:Kelson to do the torrent next week? Walkerma (talk) 03:55, 11 December 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Almost all talks hosted at TED.com (with the exception of some TEDx talks) can be downloaded as mp4 video files that can be played offline. The video can also be downloaded with subtitles embedded or "hardcoded". This means that the subtitles will be integrated as part of the video - there is no way to switch them off while watching. Follow these steps to download a talk from TED.com with hardcoded subtitles: 2ff7e9595c
